Ransomed Soul

Eric has been immersed in music from a young age, growing up as a multi-instrumentalist in Southern California. In high school he gravitated toward the low end, developing his sound through both tuba and bass. A lifelong music lover, his experience spans symphonies, jazz bands, concert bands, drumline, drum corps, rock and blues groups, and ultimately, nine proud years as a military musician.

The military gave Eric the opportunity to perform for troops, families, dignitaries, and even a U.S. President. His service also took him overseas, where he had the chance to play in Japan and South Korea. During that time, a friend shared the Gospel with him and challenged him to read the book of John—an encounter that led Eric to faith and reshaped his journey.

Since coming to faith, Eric has dedicated his musical gifts to church ministries across the country and abroad, including serving congregations in Italy and Spain. A rocker at heart with a love for deep, driving groove, Eric is excited to bring his low-end energy and punch to Ransomed Soul.
